A transfer student must have completed 60 or more semester hours (30 for transferring within the university) of acceptable undergraduate college work with an earned GPA of at least 2.75 (A=4.0). Applicants with less than a 2.75 average will be considered in special cases where strong career motivation and aptitude is demonstrated. The Department recommends that students with more than 90 hours already earned (or 135 hours if on a quarter system) complete their undergraduate degrees and apply to the graduate program in planning.
Students entering the University as freshmen and those desiring to transfer from other institutions should apply through the undergraduate admissions online application system. For additional information, contact:
