Registration
Due to limited seating and room capacity, we ask all graduates to register for the DURP Convocation and Student Recognition Ceremony and reserve tickets for their guests. In the past, departmental financial resources have permitted us to offer each graduate a limited number of breakfast tickets for themselves and their guests at no charge. More details about registration will be provided in early 2010.
Academic Attire
All degree candidates participating in the DURP Convocation and campuswide Commencement ceremonies are required to wear appropriate academic attire. Academic attire may be ordered at www.herffjones.com/Illinois as the date of the event approaches. If you are unsure of your plans, but are considering participation in either the campuswide Commencement ceremony or the DURP convocation (or both), you should place an order to rent academic attire. You will not be charged the rental fee if the academic attire is not picked up during the distribution period.
Commencement
The campuswide Commencement ceremony for graduates in Fine and Applied Arts is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in Assembly Hall. For more information go to www.illinois.edu/commencement or call the Commencement information hotline at 217-333-6814.
